Microsoft MVP 2020-2021 Microsoft Azure

Last week I was very honored to be awarded by Microsoft, with the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award in the Microsoft Azure category. It is my first MVP award, and I could not be more excited about it.

Who are MVPs?

Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals, or MVPs, are technology experts who passionately share their knowledge with the community. They are always on the “bleeding edge” and have an unstoppable urge to get their hands on new, exciting technologies. They have very deep knowledge of Microsoft products and services, while also being able to bring together diverse platforms, products and solutions, to solve real world problems. MVPs make up a global community of over 4,000 technical experts and community leaders across 90 countries/regions and are driven by their passion, community spirit, and quest for knowledge. Above all and in addition to their amazing technical abilities, MVPs are always willing to help others – that’s what sets them apart.

I need to thank several people, especially first of all my wife, for giving me the time and support for all my IT community contributions in the past years.

Also, a big thank you to everyone of the MC2MC board, colleagues, everyone at Microsoft, and last but not least everybody in the community around the world.

I am really happy and thankful with this recognition and opportunity. And I will keep helping and contributing to the community with speaking at public or online events, making Azure related blog content, organizing events with MC2MC, and help others where needed.

So, know that you can always reach out to me on Twitter or LinkedIn. I’m always happy to help with anything I can.
